Dell Touchzone FAQs
What do I do if I get a ‘Fingertapps has stopped working’ when I try to start some of the Touchzone applications?
- This is being caused by certain wifi based login systems.
- There is an updated version of Touchzone that will not be affected.
- Please delete any files in the following folder before installing the update (C:\Users\Public\Documents\Dell Touch Zone)
- Download the update here: Download
My Touchzone seems to be a rectangle instead of a Arc. How do I get the Arc back?
- Touchzone will default to the rectangular format (which can still be dragged right and left to reveal the other application icons) if Aero mode is disabled.
- Aero Mode is often disabled by pre-vista applications e.g. Kodak Easy Share.
- To re-enable Aero mode and return touchzone to the arc complete the following:
- Instructions for Windows 7:
- Right click on the desktop screen
- Select Personalize from the right click menu
- Select a theme from Aero themes (the most common theme used is Windows 7)
- The computer will ask you to wait till the change takes effect (this will cause your screen colour to turn light grey)
- The screen colour will return when the computer has finished its changes. When Aero mode is active the desktop taskbar at the bottom of the screen is transparent. In non-aero this taskbar is a solid grey bar.
My Studio One 19 touchscreen does not seem to be working at all!
